ONLINE CLASSES

When the whole world was struck by the pandemic Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Government and CISCE, New Delhi had notified the heads of all academic institutions not to resume classes in the period of lockdown to combat the rapid spread of COVID-19 among students and the whole teaching community.
So, we were compelled to stay at home. As a consequence, the whole teaching community had faced a rigorous challenge to conduct the process of education among the students. But we did not give up. As the physical class could not be possible, we had initiated the process of Virtual Learning for the students in the cyberspace by the grace of the Internet, some useful mobile apps such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, WhatsApp and YouTube as well as some smart electronic equipments.

The significance of some mobile apps in our process of virtual learning for the students are as follows :

Google Meet

Our teachers are instructed to utilize Google Meet to conduct live online class where student-teacher interaction becomes easier. For the conduct of a class in any subject, the corresponding teacher shares the class URL in the WhatsApp group of the class so that all students can access the virtual class room.

YouTube

Our teachers also record their classes and make them available to the students through our YouTube channel.

Google Classroom

This app is used by the teachers to assign any home works, projects etc. or to provide any study material to the students. It also becomes easier for the students to access those documents and submit the tasks assigned to them as well as the answer scripts of any examination.

WhatsApp

It is used by our teachers to share the class URL of Google Meet in the groups of all classes so that all students can access the virtual class room. This app is also used by the teachers to assign any home works, projects etc. or to provide any study material to the students.

Although no one can state that the virtual learning through schools is the appropriate replacement of conventional physical learning for the students, but our teachers are dedicated enough to keep alive the teaching-learning process among our students at the moment of this pandemic.
